During the recent “We Robot” event, billionaire entrepreneur and owner of X, Elon Musk, showcased Tesla’s latest advancements in robotics and vehicles, introducing the Tesla humanoid robot, Optimus. Musk described this human-like robot as capable of walking on two legs and having two hands, with a wide range of functionalities.

Musk stated, “Optimus will walk among you. When we approach, it will serve drinks for us. These robots can walk dogs, take care of children, and even mow the lawn.” He mentioned that once released to the market, the price for Optimus is expected to be around $20,000 to $30,000, emphasizing that it could be the most significant product ever created.

Videos related to this robot have gone viral on social media, showcasing its ability to communicate in a human-like manner and respond in everyday language. During the event, Musk shared a video of the robot retrieving items from a car. He expressed confidence that Tesla would produce millions of these units in the future.

Musk also unveiled the concept of a robotaxi and a cyber cab, highlighting that these vehicles would cost less than $30,000 and would operate without any drivers. He plans to have these innovative taxis on the roads in California and Texas by next year.
